F.A.S.H.I.O.N

Good day everyone! Its been another stretch where I have not blogged in a while; again there are many things that I am going through. But to keep this entry positive, I finally decided to pursue my love for fashion. In that case I chose to team up with my my boy "Deliboy" to help start this ideal of starting my clothing brand. Right now, the idea is in brainstorming process, and may take a couple of years to be established; but patience is a virtue right? What I plan to creat for the world is the whole nine yards through clothing, shirts, jeans and sneakers. I hope everyone can be patient with me, I just hope this idea can be successful.

Stubborness

Don't you hate stubborn people the majority of the time. Sometimes it is really difficult to get your thoughts across to them; lets say THE "OPPOSING PERSON" since that it was they seem to be. When you conversate and either make a suggestion to them or better yet advice them, they always seem to have something neglective to say against you. They are like an overdosed/bulged fly filled with blood; the more blood they feed off of the closer they are to making the most dangerous mistake in popping themselves. Confidence can only take you so far depending what type of person you, but those who need guidence are the ones who use their "Stubs" in making them feel that they have anything to lose. Then most times when they are correct at any situation they make you feel that there was no chance in hell that you would have been able to justify against them. Enough of me speaking about this because the more I write the more it is grueling in my mind.

Stevenson BasketbaLL

It has been a long time coming and the basketball season is coming to a halt. It's been a long road for me being a part of the Varsity team for four years consecutively. Now I have reached my Senior year. Throughout all of the years it has been constructive but it never went the way I envisioned it to be. I guess the saying "You Can't Always Get What You Want" is dominantly true. Despite that, all the players that I've played with were good people. Although as good of a people they are, they all human and they have a minds of their own; as weird it may sound this was the problem with us as players not being on the same page. Now that I'm a Senior, being on the team has shown me life morals that I would have never thought of which is adjacent to a relationship with a person. Both spouses have to be intertwined with one another and have trust with one another; but as a team we didn't have that. Sometimes I ask myself who's fault was it at the end of the day, but its disturbing sometimes to even think about it because I don't know who does did it fall under.

'Till this day as much I want to say that I love the game of basketball, its hard to answer a question where I would describe what type of player I am or how good of a player I am as well.

Brotherly Country: Haiti

January 12th was the fatal earthquake that took place in Haiti. One of the astonishing surprising and maybe the greatest global crisis that has happened to one of our brotherly countries. Its really disturbing to see one of the poorest countries come to a conclusion such as this, Haiti for many years have had struggle developing their country due to its bad economy and government. Haiti is the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere and as the twenty-seventh most impoverished nation in the world.

Buildings crumbled, the ground tore apart like it was broken a like a piece of cookie, houses and tents fell on people which kill them. Telephones and electricity were cut off which made it impossible for people to come in contact. Relief workers had hard times transporting themselves from destination to destination. It seemed like the end of the world for the brotherly island of Dominican Republic.

It hurts to see a country getting into more worse conditions than it already is in because not only does it affect them in particular but it impacts countries that are supporting one another. It affects one other economies which makes it difficult to develop as nations. Therefore lately there has been a rigid support in relief plans and reform for the people of Haiti. The Red Cross as well as other rescue/relief service chains have urgently been on the job.

Happy Belated NewYears...

Happy New Year - New Year
Its been a long time coming to a brand new decade of the 21st century. Humanity has come a long way from its intangibles. But now its a new era in town; 2010. I really don't have nothing to say for the simple reason of I don't want to say anything hipocriticle because no matter how many resolutions we set for ourselves, us being humans we don't fulfill them. When it hit 12:00AM January 1st it still felt the same exact way, nothing has changed, everything in my life has not been diminished as far as people, and life conditions. In the end NewYear's was a special day for everybody to rejoice and prepare themselves for the year ahead. The only thing I can say that I'm going to do is get my mind right before anything else.

Thank You 2009

A long time it has been not being in the presence of my blog. I kind of been in my so called lamberynth. A new year is coming soon and all that is behind me is soon to be in the past. So their is only one thing that I have left to do... and that is to leave it in the past. As hard as it is to even think about forgetting it, I have to move on, and drive to my mere future. I thank the year of 2009 because it made me open my eyes to different experiences that I've gone through whether it was family issues, independency, life conditions, and the trials and tribulations of love; with all that I thank the year of my 18th year in this planet. In addition the year has made me a better than I ever been. Let alone what I plan towards the year of 2010 is succesfully enroll in one of the colleges and universities that are in my list and simply be happy from there on. Obviously we all know there are going to be several obstacles that are going to be in the way but staying strong and stolid is my new modo that I will follow from here on; Therefore I will not let anything come in my way. Conclusively I want to thank the one thing that I witnessed from this year and that is the thing we call Belief/Trust... all I have to say is that (YOU ARE EVERYTHING THAT I THOUGHT YOU BECAME)---> THANK YOU AGAIN 2009

Sorry?

It has been a while I have not blogged, but for the past few months has been hectic. There has been too many things happening at once. For example, it may hurt for me to mention this as for my grandmother having to be sick all the time, going through college credentials; meeting deadlines, keeping up with my grades where I've done legit. Lastly, lately I happen to get hired by Domino's Pizza. So I have numerical things going on for myself, sometimes I ask my self how am I going to manage all of this. Then on top of all of that, I have the weekly journalism classes every wednesday until mid December. To end this, that's the main I have not been blogging lately, for the past few weeks I have had too many things on my mind.

So Much For Being Pro-Active... I just hope all of this is happening for a reason.

Jennings Doing Great

Happy Birthday Darien!

Happy Birthday to my lil' man, my brother. Today he turns sixteen years old, he thinks he's growing but he's still short. But overall congratulations on his sixteenth birthday, I love him to death, I wish him all the best for his future to come. I know there are going to be more blogs on his birthdays, therefore I'm happy that he is in my life. I'm happy that I have a little brother that I can talk to and be a presence of influence in his life and someone that he can look up to.

HAPPY SIXTEEN BIRTHDAY
YOU STILL NOT GROWING ALONG WITH YOUR LIL' SMIGGLE LoL

When You're Alone... HAHAHA!

What happens when you are alone, all by yourself? I know most of us bug out or do something really silly that we don't normally do in front of people that we usually are comfortable with. Well I must say that I'm one of those people. Just ask my cousin Jonothan he's a witness of some of the non-sense that I've done. For example, one of the funniest "Self-Moments" that I had was, while I was playing a game of football with my friends like last week. The play just so happen to end and usually when every time we finish a play we take quite a while to redeem our selves to get on to the next play. So during that moment, I was just gathering my self at the end of the line where I was going to start my run towards the next play, but suddenly I started to daydream while looking away into LaLa Land and begin to dance. All of sudden, everybody started to laugh for some reason, then I finally woke up and wondered why everyone was laughing at. Little did I know the joke was on me [Sigh]. I found my friends dying over my self moment and especially my cousin who was on the floor while fighting to gather him self.

In addition to all of that being said, I know I'm not the only one who has their moments at times. I heard many stories that have been even much silly than mine. Some say they bug out while fixing themselves in the mirror, putting on their clothes, even doing their elongated homework. These moments are really scrutinizing because we get to see what type of person he/she is when they are by themselves or in their own world, and for the most part it is one the funniest things that you can witness of a person.

Phenomenal Illustrations- (KiD CuDi: Man On The Moon: The End Of Day)

This many be so hard to believe, but i'm going to ahead and say this... I literally listen to this particular album more than Jay-Z Blueprint3, no disrespect to HOVA'S music. But I feel my self having more of a connection to KiD CuDi's Album because it is sooo me. The music is so tantamount that it fits my personality. To be honest, this antithetical piece music as opposed to Hip-Hop it is not even called Hip-Hop in it's self. I consider this music to be called "Different"and "Soulful". Conclusively, I may not win for what I'm going to say now, but look to see this to be the album of the year!

Quote Of The Day!

"Pain occurs in the body, suffering resides in the mind, whereas possibility abounds deep within your soul, always vibrant always alive. It just takes the truth to unfetter it from your feelings as the courage to be great lays deep within you at all times... Pleading with the YOU that your to look with."

Magnitizing Peculiarity #2: Fabolous

Fabolous,32,born African-American-Dominican and raised in Bedford-Stuyvesant,Brooklyn, New York. He went from "Ghetto Fabulous", to his "Way". Collectively selling over a million records as well as being Grammy-Award Nominated through several hit records. In addition to all his subsequent success as an artist, he has been an appealing influence to the fashion world.

He is that type of person where as everytime your watching television or whatever the case may be and they announce his name for what ever reason, the first thing that I ask myself is what is going to wear this time? He went from Baggy-To-Classy, still keeps it simple... and that is the definition of a magnetizing perculiarity.

Journal Entry #4: Love V. Money Part 2: An Ideal Lost

You staggeringly rebelled...
I gave you my all
And that was fully my my mistake....

I should have never done that
I realized you had more diligence and experience
However all your hopes had to diminish

I didn't see it coming
I just wanted to keep it runnin'

Thoughts run in my head
despite everything you said
I thought I were in your intentions

Was everything just a facade...

I just couldn't see
I was in the pursuit of happiness
In the end you really hurt me...

Letter From My Varsity Basketball Coach

The disappointment that you think I have has nothing to do with you as a person or player. It weighs heavy on my heart that I have to struggle to get you to believe in yourself and see your true potential. Basketball is a mere game but the confidence and discipline gained by playing this can carry you a life time.

Is Starts With You!

One can lose many games in ones life time. To be a winner in the game of life is the game that matters the most. Doubt often turns into Fear which is Not of God!
You will always be a winner if you believe in yourself and God. All things are possible for those who believe in God.

I believe in You!
Just believe in Yourself!
God is always you.
God is always on time!

No matter the out come; you can be and always will be a winner!

Coach,

H. Harrison
