Letter From My Varsity Basketball Coach

The disappointment that you think I have has nothing to do with you as a person or player. It weighs heavy on my heart that I have to struggle to get you to believe in yourself and see your true potential. Basketball is a mere game but the confidence and discipline gained by playing this can carry you a life time.

Is Starts With You!

One can lose many games in ones life time. To be a winner in the game of life is the game that matters the most. Doubt often turns into Fear which is Not of God!
You will always be a winner if you believe in yourself and God. All things are possible for those who believe in God.

I believe in You!
Just believe in Yourself!
God is always you.
God is always on time!

No matter the out come; you can be and always will be a winner!

Coach,

H. Harrison

Magnitizing Peculiarity #1: Lupe Fiasco

Lupe Fiasco; 26; Born and raised in the West side of Chicago; Grammy Award Winner Rapper and "Album Of The Year" nominated for the critically-acclaimed albums "Food & Liquor as well as "The Cool". What can I say about this dude's sense of fashion. Sometimes I wonder what's on his mind in the morning when he throws on his pieces? Even though I have my own style of fashion- his is very comparable to mine, for the simple fact that I guess trying out new things regardless of what people say. Now this man has been in several well credited magazines such as Complex; XXL MAG; KING; Swagger; Billboards; GIANT MAG; FanZine and most essentially GQ Magazine where he was named GQ's "Breakout Man Of The Year"

Also when it comes to his feet; it's really unbaring to watch. It something; sort of like an onion to my eye. From Lowtops-To-Hightops he figures out his way to illuminate every step that he takes. I guess an magnetizing peculiarity can come along way. Look what it has made me write about. ;-)

He so unique from others especially as a Hip-Hop Artist.
Who would have thought a Rapper could have Japanese Tendencies?
Or even love to Skate...
How different can you be... LOL

Does The Truth Hurts Sometimes?

Because of this now I see Kanye West as a different personnel. It really hurts to see one of your inspiring influences change your mind about them in a negative way. This was a very irrational decision for him to make. Not only this can possibly change people's view upon seeing him in a positive way, but as a music artist; his career can go down the toilet. It was a bad move of him, I just hope he gets through this because now he has lots of minds to change.

Communication

I think communication is one of the most important necessities we have in the world. It's an essential part of life that we use in our everyday life. But sometimes we can't live with it and sometimes, can't live without it,; we need it. Without it we can not make any point across to anyone, in order for them to comprehend a message or a point that your making. In opposition to that, with it we can create a world of controversy and conflict. Being able to express ourselves is a power that we all have; it sometimes can influence an ordeal of people whereas it may be received as a positive or a negative.

Communication varies from so many levels, it can come in so many forms; whether it is orally, eye contact, body language, a firm hand shake, literature or even rumors. This makes it diverse on choosing how one wants to be heard; ultimately it becomes quite a discretion to who you want to affect at the same token. The problem with this, once again; it can be obscure for the simple fact that you don't know what that person is thinking or how that person may take your message. In conclusion, this world is made up of many constituents, and one of those is the ability of expression; communication.

Allen Iverson To Memphis?

Finally throughout all the adversity he has been through with Detroit. Allen Iverson agreed to a 1 year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies of 3.5 Million. After being in pursuit of a team after being released and on to the free agency list, he's been nullified by many teams in rumor he would demand automatic start and be the franchise. This being said it has been the reason why he's was in a contridactary with Detroit's organization.

Now that he's in Memphis, they are really excited to have him. Him being a 10- Time Allstar and a future Hall Of Famer will not only bring excitement to the city of Memphis, in terms of business he will attract more fans and fillup the FedEx Forum. But overall Memphis organization feel that he would impact the team tremendously. They believe they can be a contender wit what Iverson has to offer. There for they feel content with what direction they are going towards.

Tomorrow Is The First Day Of Our Last Year

Ughh.... how can I start this... Well tomorrow is the first day of my senior in high school. Sometimes I can't believe that I reached this part of my life. When I was in elementary school I always thought high school was really difficult, sometimes I would go ahead and ask my cousins because they were in high school themselves if it really was hard at all. They would just tell me not really. As for my curiosity back then, now I can say it really isn't difficult because I've always done what I had to do. Thus, it has been a long road for me. I've experience so many things that taught me about life along with its inclinations. I hope this last year of high school all goes well for me. I wish the best out of life for those that always been there for me also. It seems like I'm writing a farewell letter but I'm writing this for those who are reading this who are also in their last stage of high school to make the most of it because I believe after this will define the person that we are going to be and what decisions we are going to make in the long run for the better or even for the worst.

Stimulus Money Reassures The Future For Teachers and Parents As Well As Students

American education has been in slump for teachers and students. Financial and employment problems have been relevant towards teachers and has effected many parents along with their kids across the country. Dozens of states have been plunged with a decline of revenue and most importantly lay-offs. Without this, it really reminds us and leads to the effects of the economy. By this effect it has placed many teachers with a class up to 40 or even 50 students. Furthermore it cut teachers salaries which was very obvious it would happen. Distressingly teachers would face a change outside of the classroom lives. The sad part about this is that the most assertive teachers were unfairly layed-off rather than emasculate ones. Gladly, many were re-hired thanks to the 100 billion dollar federal stimulus money which has been the last tip of the ice-berg for replacing revenues for schools. Hopefully this can upkeep the dozens contingencies towards the students future to a bright one. In closing we are wearing out of this recession but it will take a few years until we tarnish this predicament.
